Ankle brachial index (ABI) testing is a type of test that compares the blood pressure of the upper extremities to the lower extremities. If the blood pressure of the lower extremities is lower than that of the upper extremities, this can indicate the presence of peripheral artery disease (PAD). At Medsource Southwest, we offer two types of the Newman Cuff-Link System: the Single-Level & the advanced Multi-Level.
The simple ABI Cuff-Link Single-Level System measures the blood pressure with cuffs at both arms and ankles to diagnose the existence of an obstruction.
The simple ABI Cuff-Link Multi-Level System has the capability for Single-Level ABI testing as well as Multi-Level testing where the blood pressure cuffs are also placed at the thigh, calf, ankle and toe levels to determine the level of the obstruction.
Now until December 31st, 2022, we’re offering a free computer and handheld doppler with purchase of either one of these Newman simple ABI Cuff-Link Systems!
