The Microlife WatchBP Office Vascular PWV is the most advanced configuration in the WatchBP Office Vascular lineup, combining comprehensive blood pressure monitoring with full cardiovascular risk screening in a single, easy-to-use device. Clinically validated for children aged 3 and older, pregnant patients (including known or suspected pre-eclampsia), diabetes, end-stage renal disease, and obesity, it delivers accurate results across a wide range of complex patient populations.
Every measurement screens for Atrial Fibrillation (AF) while simultaneously capturing dual-arm readings to assess Inter-Arm Difference (IAD). For Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) screening, automated Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) assessment provides a fast, clinically validated alternative to manual Doppler — making it practical to identify at-risk patients right in the clinic setting.
Brachial-ankle Pulse Wave Velocity (baPWV) measurement evaluates arterial stiffness using a user-friendly, reproducible cuff-based method, with results displayed directly on the report and printout. Non-invasive Central Blood Pressure measurement further enhances cardiovascular risk assessment by determining ascending aortic blood pressure through Pulse Volume Plethysmography (PVP) waveform analysis — providing a more reliable indicator of cardiovascular risk and hypertension than peripheral BP alone.
The WatchBP Office Vascular PWV also supports Automated Office Blood Pressure Measurement (AOBPM) using the validated SPRINT algorithm, with an optional 5-minute countdown before three measurements are automatically taken at one-minute intervals for standardized, unattended readings.
Free WatchBP PC software enables seamless data transfer and analysis via included USB cable, with printable reports displaying ABI, PWV, and central BP results to support thorough clinical documentation. Bluetooth connectivity adds further flexibility for data management.
