The EDAN SE-18 is the flagship professional ECG system in the EDAN lineup, engineered to deliver advanced acquisition, analysis, and interpretation across standard and expanded lead configurations. Designed to increase clinician productivity, the SE-18 combines powerful hardware with sophisticated software tools — making it equally at home in busy cardiology practices, hospital departments, and diagnostic centers.
At the heart of the SE-18 is the newly designed DE18 sampling box, which seamlessly supports standard 12-lead ECG alongside expanded 15, 16, and 18-lead configurations using additional pluggable leadwires. The additional leads V3R, V4R, V5R, and V7/V8/V9 can be acquired simultaneously with auto analysis and interpretation — providing critical diagnostic support for myocardial infarction (MI) confirmation that standard 12-lead systems cannot offer.
The large, high-resolution color touchscreen features an intelligent Light Sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient conditions to protect users' eyes, while automatic luminance adjustment ensures optimal viewing in any environment. The three-color Signal Quality Indicator gives clinicians an immediate, at-a-glance assessment of signal quality for each individual lead — minimizing acquisition errors and repeat tests. On-screen diagnosis tools, including waveform amplification, measuring, and confirming, further support accurate interpretation at the point of care.
The advanced SEMIP algorithm delivers reliable automatic measurements and interpretation, while comprehensive filters and anti-noise technology ensure clean waveform acquisition. Color identification of arrhythmias makes rapid rhythm assessment intuitive and efficient. Long-time sampling, analysis, and storage across 9-, 12-, 15-, and 18-lead configurations, combined with large internal memory expandable via USB flash disk, provide robust data management capabilities. Bi-directional communication with the EDAN SE-1515 Data Management System and optional LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity support seamless integration into networked clinical environments.
